The Brand Ambassadors are the heart and soul of Rishi! They connect our Brand partners to the customers and budtenders that buy and sell their products. As a Lead Brand Ambassador, you will have the opportunity to educate thousands of customers on the benefits of our client’s products while supporting our larger mission of supporting the cannabis industry through education.

We are currently accepting applications for a Part-Time Lead Brand Ambassador in the Bay Area territory. This role involves communicating and engaging with dispensary management, budtenders and dispensary customers, managing those relationships, and providing feedback, updates, and market insights to Rishi’s clients. As a Rishi Lead Brand Ambassador, you will have an unparalleled opportunity to develop your professional network, learn and apply sales and marketing techniques, cultivate deep knowledge of the business and science of Cannabis and Cannabis manufacturing, and get direct exposure to cannabis retail and marketing operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain a high-level understanding of a portfolio of Rishi client brands in your territory as well as related general cannabis knowledge.
• Provide in-store product demonstrations, conduct Patient/Customer Appreciation Days (PADs) events, and similar special field marketing events on behalf of Rishi clients to increase brand awareness and drive store sales.
• Provide in-store training for dispensary staff on behalf of Rishi clients.
• Assist Rishi and Rishi clients with merchandising and marketing initiatives.
• Complete feedback reports and questionnaires for both Rishi and Rishi clients.
• Obtain and provide pictures and video of demos, in-store displays, shelf displays and other specified areas for Rishi and Rishi clients.
• Build and maintain relationships with budtenders in your territory.
• Maintain regular contact and communication with your supervisor.
• Regularly track all hours and mileage using the Teams and MileIQ apps.

Skills, Education Required Experience

• 1-2 years of experience as a Brand Ambassador, or customer-facing roles like sales, retail, customer service, or similar roles.
• Ability to work independently, adapt to changing conditions and communicate effectively.
• Sales skills, including persuasion, overcoming objections, active listening, and negotiation.
• Must be outgoing, attentive, comfortable with public speaking and engaging in conversation with customers and retailer partners.
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must possess a valid drivers license, car insurance, and reliable transportation - this role requires travel to different dispensaries in your territory
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, adapt to changing conditions and communicate effectively.
• You are comfortable with, and enjoy, presenting and speaking with large groups of people.
• Deep knowledge of cannabis - the science, the industry, the people, and the culture. (If you're new to the industry, we are willing to train and educate the right candidates).
• Knowledge of, or ability to learn, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, and similar social platforms.
• Tolerant and positive attitude - tolerance, understanding, and kindness are at the core of the Rishi philosophy and culture. As a Brand Agent, you will be interacting with people from all backgrounds, and we expect you to treat ALL people with understanding, respect, and kindness

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to push/pull and lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to four hours

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 – 15 per week
